About Sadie

 

I was born in New York City and moved to Houston when I was just a girl. I discovered my love for fine arts very early in life and often found myself indulged in some form of creation (poetry, jewelry making, scrapbooking, album design, painting and photography). My Dad, an artist for over 50 years, bought me my first Polaroid Camera when I was 9 years old.  After I took my very first picture, I remember being intrigued by the idea that a moment and a feeling could be so significantly captured in an instant; and I have been captivated by that notion ever since.

As a mother to two “delightful” children, it is my heart’s desire to create loving and lasting memories that will be with our family for generations to come. Because I also work full time, as a Houston Police Officer (24 years and counting), my family's love and support has enabled me to seriously pursue my passion for photography.  

Although I am newly pursuing photography as a profession, I have many years of experience.  Samples of my work may be viewed right here on the website.  I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America, which is the world’s oldest and largest national association of professional photographers. I am also a member of both the State association, Texas Professional Photographers of America and the local association, Professional Photographers Guild of Houston.  I have also obtained my Certification in this field, which sets me apart from many other photographers.  Select the following link, Certified Professional Photographer, to find out more information on this prestigious certification. 

My Service Philosophy and Promise:

Photography is my passion and the ability to be very detail oriented is in my blood. Together, we will create a portrait that speaks to who you are as a person, who you imagine yourself to be and/or who you may dream to become.   

As your Portrait Artist, I promise to be attentive to your needs and work closely with you to articulate your vision for the memories that you wish to create. I promise to pay attention to the fine details that may define your overall experience. From learning about your personality, to making suggestions regarding attire and other things, I will be committed to a quality process.

My goal is to cultivate life-long relationships with clients; and I will strive to surpass legendary service in every facet of my profession. My goal is to provide you with superior products and an excellent experience. If for any reason you are unsatisfied, I am willing to work very diligently to ensure your satisfaction.
